Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a masterclass in show don’t tell. You learn everything by experiencing the world and the characters. It never falls into exposition. I wish more game devs trusted their audience!

Based on my experience, I know exactly why so much was poorly redacted in the Epstein files. They used AI, probably OpenAI model. These models are conditioned to ignore CSAM, so when it encouraged those images it passed them without looking and nobody reviewed it. More lazy bullshit.

So they keep changing department names. Time to change DHS to department of homicidal sociopaths.

Damnit. I watched Bugonia and once the story was revealed I said to myself this better not end how I think it will. And it did. So cliche, so disappointing. That ending would have been great in 1996 but in 2026 it’s completely expected :( Great movie otherwise.

I think Claude summed it all up pretty well.

Sunday is red sauce night in my house. Decided to just go ahead and try my hand at making the pasta too! A little thicker than I would have liked, but for my first try...not bad at all!

Stranger things: how it started vs how it ended

Why does it feel these days like we’re all biding our time until the end?

Richard Servello @eastoflavfx.com · 02/01/2026

Wow. Stranger things ending was such garbage. Way to ruin a good show.

This is the problem with most people. Helping others should NOT be for praise or how it benefits you!!! I help people get jobs ALL THE TIME. I don't get butthurt if they don't rain praise on me. If they can work and feed their family, I'm good.

A little update today! It uses on device llm to determine not only exact nutrition but the product name and brand name! It works even when it’s not explicitly mentioned. It can use context clues. All done without an internet connection.
