Same homie last time I saw you it was in a cave ha! Yeah the new limiter in Ableton 12. I know I’m biased but I think Ableton 12 is the bees knees.

Haha agreed but the newly updated one isn’t bad.

The music is back. I maintain that great songs happen to you instead of you writing them. #musicians #songwriting

I’m giving Ground News a try. Thus far I really like it, sure beats the news aggregator from my own echo chamber.

Considering calling it “Cloud Finder Studio” in honor of the fact that this is the name of our WiFi network since we moved in up here.

Got this acoustic “cloud” framed and fitted with acoustic fabric. It will hang above the desk over the mixing position. The next steps are figuring out the mounting and spilling it with acoustic insulation! #musicproduction #woodworking #musicstudio

Great read. This rise of “life hacks” and “just do this one simple thingisms” is leading us into a Dunning Kruger effect epidemic.

Also RIP to the use of the word “nonfungible”

Yeah, I mean it’s also a pretty good tool for snuffing well established artists who have worked for decades on their fanbases. Like if we just post something from our band page and don’t put any money behind it. Hoping that this will be different for at least a near term.

Yeah, you gotta be careful with these things huh? I’m busier than I’ve ever been but also recognizing that the time I spend on other social media is a giant waste if no one ever sees what I create, you feel me?

For my first post and run-on sentence, I’m cautiously optimistic yet healthily skeptical about this new platform and how it can benefit musicians and other creative’s ability to actually reach their audiences. How have you found it thus far? #musicians #indiemusicians #indieartists
