This genuinely happened in a coffee shop in Ballymena today. Woman asks what sizes of coffees they do. Server: “We do small and large.” Woman: “How big are they?” Server: “I’ll grab two cups and show you.” [Gets two different sized cups] “This is the wee large one and this is the wee small one.”

They’re so popular that there’s no space for them on the roads now, so they simply *have* to ride on the pavement. 😐

The UK version was based on/“inspired by” a US version on TV in the 1950s (which in turn came from a US radio show). www.imdb.com/title/tt1250...

Today I only twigged that the title of this TV show [image 1] must be a play on this [image 2]. More bang-up-to-date cultural references as I get them.

Very readable. (But also: “Only I saw why Facebook was horrible and corrupt yet I didn’t say anything as I wanted to make money, but then they sacked me and now I hate those guys.”)

This Big Bird story is just one of many amazing tales of life inside Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg blows out meeting heads of state, addressing the UN in the morning etc as he does not get up before noon. 🫠

Forever Home review – Graham Norton’s corpse-in the-basement thriller absolutely stinks
Norton’s best selling novel hits the small screen in a flurry of murder, bad gags and ex-soap stars in drab cardigans drinking fake coffees. What a total yawn

Andy BUMham (as in “rn” sort of looks like “m” if you’re not wearing your varifocals). And the ham he is bumming (e.g.FUCKING (i.e. FUCKING OVER)) is HOT like the very SUN he refuses to TURN DOWN through e.g. recycling.
