iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

People get annoyed because it isn't fast because they make everything (incl tortillas) to order but the vibe is great, margs are amazing and handmade each time. If you can spare an hour+, it's a great place for lunch or to catch up with someone on their patio outback.

Huh my son was there with friends and said similar. I'll have to check it out. I'm addicted to BTOs in Dormont.

It's still better than plenty of A-level zombie flicks without taking itself too seriously.

This movie is so incredibly b-movie/cult following. When she was eaten alive, I lost my shit and almost cried walking home in the dark/fog. Great first R-rated movie. And ofc now I am obsessed with EXACTLY this type of movie.

Ugh I had the same happen recently. They cut their hours to ~20 a week (barely ever open). Food was so good but how are you going to pay rent/everything with 20 hours a week!

Congrats on being in their life but I parent the kids in my scout troop more than that every week.

If you or your child were discriminated against because of UPMC’s decision to end gender affirming care, please reach out to the City of Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations. If you’d like support in making this connection or support while you go through the process, reach out tog4ty@gmail.com

CITY OF PITTSBURGH

CITY-COUNTY BUILDING
PRESS RELEASE
September 29, 2026
Executive Committee
Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations
Public Statement on the Settlement Between the Department of Justice and
UPMC Regarding Gender-Affirming Care
The Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations condemns the settlement between the
U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). While the continued anonymity and privacy of the children and families who have utilized gender-affirming services at UPM facilities is paramount, a ten-year moratorium on gender-affirming care services for those age 19 and younger is a devastating blow to the community.
Pittsburghers should not have to leave their hometown medical hub to seek care.
Inequities in health care are already a guarantee for vulnerable populations; utilizing identity to restrict access to clinical intervention is not only discriminatory, but life-threatening. Statistics on the impact to youth in the LGBTQIA+ community are readily available and clearly show the risk of removing access to these services. If the safety of children was truly at the heart of this matter, giving families the right to choose what care is right for them would be at the forefront.
It is a violation of Pittsburgh's City Code to, "Refuse, withhold from, or deny to any person elective medical care which would normally be provided to a person, but for that person's real or perceived gender identity or gender expression." If you feel your rights have been violated, we urge you to contact our office.

I'm happy with how everything turned out... But that's way too much food even for 5+ people. Time to hook up the neighbors.

I'm a Sunset Hills kinda Dormontster. Much quieter, primarily single-family housing, next to the HS, and younger kids get bussed to Dormont Elementary.

That Espy @ Lasalle area is the semi-historic Anderson Acres plan that produced some absolutely gorgeous houses on that street. This isn't really one of those but it's certainly help inflate the price (which is about 100k high). I wouldn't love to live in that area either, very loud and busy.

Holy shit house fire this evening. Arrived on scene, homeowners weren't home from work. Their Scottie was trapped in its cage. Puppy was carried out and immediately put on air. He was so cute and sat there patiently with the mask on while we put the fire out.

No one can function if they are on 100% of the time. In the last 24 hours, we had a structure fire, a motorcycle vs a car, a utility pole on fire for hours, flooding, etc etc. Please, just leave me alone for a minute to charge my battery.
