Cerro Carpio #SOTA EA5/VL-042 last weekend at the border between Alicante and Cuenca. Very short activation due to sporadic heavy rains. Poor propagation on 20m. Using 9m "random" wire 1:9 unun and 5w FT817. Worked Juerg HB9BIN at Sao Miguel Açores as the only out from cont. EU 73 ES TKS! #hamradio

Ending the year completing the lowest summits around Bilbao (Word Capital) today was the time for Unbe Mendi #SOTA EA2/BI-076. A late activation with higher bands opened to USA (3 Qs on 18, 21 & 28 MHz) with stronger signals than never b4 (579-599) 73! #hamradio #amateurradio
