Dance Dance Revolution, my number one favorite rhythm game series, made its arcade debut in Japan on this exact day 28 years ago. Today also marks 20 years since DDR SuperNOVA CS (US) was released.

Oh, don't mind me. I'm just heartbroken because we lost Aaliyah 25 years ago today. She should still be here, damn it...

Long time no see, beautiful people. Today marks three years since I migrated to Bluesky, so I picked the perfect time to come back. P.S. Remember when invite codes were a thing?

Top of the morning, everyone. I am blessed to wake up to another happy and healthy birthday, and I pray that I live to see many more in the future. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna follow Jill Scott's example and spend the day living my life like it's golden.

Can you believe it's been 24 years since the original Xbox and, by extension, Dead or Alive 3 were released in Japan? If you have an Xbox One or Series X|S and are interested in getting this version of the game, @beely1011.bsky.social has a video on YouTube that should be a great help.

Today also marks 21 years since Dead or Alive Ultimate was released. I'm telling you, Team Ninja captured lightning in a bottle with this timeless masterpiece. P.S. Rest in peace, Tomonobu Itagaki. Your contributions to the world of gaming will never be forgotten.

Happy 25th anniversary of the PlayStation 2's launch in the United States! To this day, this iconic video game console remains one of my all-time favorites, right next to the original Xbox.

My cousins introduced me to the PlayStation 2 on Easter Sunday in 2007, but I didn't get my own until Christmas Day six years later. It's because of this brilliant console that I fell in love with many different video game franchises, such as Tekken, Dead or Alive, Soulcalibur, and Ridge Racer.

The PlayStation 2 and, by extension, Ridge Racer V launched 25 years ago today in Japan. Just saying that blows my mind, because how have two and a half decades passed since one of my favorite consoles was released?

"There are some who believe that I owe them something. But they're wrong. I owe nothing to no one but myself. And there are some who say they created me, but only my parents will have that acclaim." - Madonna, 1994 It feels amazing to wake up and celebrate another happy, healthy birthday.

Today, the PlayStation 2 and Ridge Racer V—the very first game for the console to go gold—were released in Japan 24 years ago. The amount of fond memories I have with this timeless gaming system is astronomical, and its legendary library of games still holds up in the current generation.

Good morning or afternoon, world, and all who inhabit it. I'm happy to announce that I am officially 25 years old. Here's to two and a half decades on this earth, and may I live to see more happy, healthy, and prosperous years ahead.

It's been a while since I made an individual post on my account. I hope everyone is doing all right, and may the first day of December be a pleasant and productive one, especially since today is Friday.

I can't believe that Tekken 4, my all-time favorite game in terms of storytelling and atmosphere, is legally old enough to drink. Here's to 21 years of one of the best installments in the franchise that doesn't deserve its status as the black sheep.

Okay, it's time for me to take a break from rhythm games for a while. Trying to get a full combo for the RANDOM course on DIFFICULT in Dance Dance Revolution STRIKE last night gave me a headache, so now I finally have an excuse to play my favorite fighting games again, starting with Tekken 4.

Yesterday, I completed Dance Master Mode in Dance Dance Revolution STRIKE in its entirety. Today, I finally set up my brand new PlayStation 2 Slim (NTSC-U/C), and unlike the last one, everything works perfectly. I know I don't say this often, but life is good.
