oh my god. one of the stupid bionicle scalpers is selling the bohrok vhs, and he didnt know what it is. so he had AI write the item description. and it just regurgitated my bmp news post about the 35mm theater ad i found, which is a completely different thing. <https://www.ebay.com/itm/157932051448>

the ebay description reads: You are looking at an absolute piece of Bionicle history. This is an original, physical 35mm film print of the legendary 2002 Bohrok Teaser Trailer.

Originally distributed to movie theaters in Texas for promotional screenings before the official Bohrok launch, this film print is an incredibly rare artifact from the golden era of Bionicle. It is the exact source piece used to bring Bohrok footage to the public online in true HD for the very first time! (A true "SU-per" find, just like the Krana Su).
Item & Project Backstory:

Theater Heritage: Genuine 35mm film roll used in US cinema distribution back in 2002.

HD Source Material: Professionally digitized by the film experts at Kineko Video. All post-processing and meticulous color correction were handled in-house to ensure the highest possible quality preservation.

Collector's Provenance: Spotted on eBay by community helper Jaina and preserved for the community.

What is Included in this Listing:

The Original 35mm Film Print: The physical movie theater VHS of the Bohrok Teaser Trailer.

Digital Legacy: This archive-grade print serves as the master copy for the high-definition digital releases currently archived by the BioMedia Project (BMP).

BONUS: The BMP Backlog "Die Legende Lebt" History

As part of the preservation journey surrounding this generation of Bionicle media, this item is closely tied to the definitive archiving of the European Bohrok VHS tape ("The Legend Lives"). Through a chain of community upgrades (including anonymous high-quality digitizations, letterbox removal, Vahkiti's stock music sourcing, and Gatanui's translated subtitles), the spirit of this era has been fully captured. Please note: This listing is for the physical 35mm film trailer print

thinking about this again. on account of the anniversary

The Cow Tools far side strip edited to be 'George Tools'. The cow is Takua (aka George), and the tools are the strange implements from a prototype screenshot of the 2001 gba bionicle game.

cant wait to buy things on bricklink via the shambling zombie of the lego club account i made in 2001 to play flash games

Screenshot of an email. it reads "If you already have a LEGO Account, you’ll soon be able to merge it with your BrickLink account. If you don’t have one yet, you’ll need to create one and then merge it with your BrickLink account to keep using all your favorite BrickLink features."

new object. 'Toa Nuva' CD-ROM [bohrok swarm cd-rom in a trenchcoat], only given out to random children who largely did not think about BIONICLE again after being handed it (2002 van tour). this has made it weirdly rare in proportion to the number of discs pressed
