Using government funds to pay for localisation of existing live service games or games in development would be such an effective spend. Pay epic to put Irish in fortnite or Microsoft for Minecraft. PR win and keeps the language alive.

It's been a while since I've seen it. It can be awkward to hit "i" when using a phone to fill out a form. There's no reason that the form shouldn't guess that you're in an English speaking country when the page is in English and place a copy of the most popular selections at the top of the list.

The Irish government is highly trusted by the populace. They are our representatives, the Russian government is not. Source for the "public" being suspicious of the gov motivations ? Why should our government be overruled by other countries in matters that don't affect them?
