The 4-year e-FLOWER project will develop the next generation of eco-designed, conformable, and sustainable e-textiles, embedding Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles from the very beginning, for fitness, activity and wellbeing applications.

The colourful eFLOWER factsheet offers a snapshot of the project's goals, partners, activities, and expected outcomes. It outlines the 3 test cases - wearable fitness tracking clothes for LAND, WATER, and SPACE. Colours in logo are green for LAND & sustainable eco-friendly designs, blue for the WATER use case, the blank spaces are to represent SPACE.

Since officially launching on 1 June, the #eFLOWER project has been getting underway, with partners already collaborating across Europe to advance the future of sustainable e-textiles. In July, the consortium came together online for its 1st project-wide meeting #ETextiles #GrapheneFlagship
