Day 71 of sharing my physical video game collection: Final Fantasy VIII (PS) I've only played like 2 hours of this one about a year & a half ago, but it's currently on my short list to get back to & give a real playthrough 🎮 What are your thoughts on FF8?

Um… Mean Girls is awesome & you should absolutely watch it!

No Zack, but Tom Morello has a new album & is, as always, very vocal ✊🏻

...also the 2 discs look awesome across from each other in the steelbook ⚔️

Day 70 of sharing my physical video game collection: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (PS5) I'll grant that this installment is definitely too long, but I still really enjoyed Rebirth. Planning on playing through Remake & Rebirth again before Revelation comes out in a few months!

This was TOUGH to narrow down to 9! I give you, in no particular order, 9 albums that were very influential for me in one way or another 🤘🏻💜💿 my9albums.com

It’s October, so here’s an antique from Halloween 2008 (I knew exactly why the run was gone)

What's a poster you had in your room growing up? I’ve had several MJ posters since (I have at least 3 now, they’re just not currently hanging), but the first was this one - I specifically remember the guitar belt buckle!

After being sick for 3 days, I finally got to restart The Witcher 3 w/ the new remaster release! I’m hoping this time I’ll finally finish the game 🤣 🤘🏻💜🐺

Day 69 (nice) of sharing my physical video game collection: Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS5) I love the FF7 remake & I don't even care! I played this on PS4 at launch in 2020. At the time, I had only played the original up to the point of leaving Midgar, so it was perfect. I'm excited for Part 3!

Day 68 of sharing my physical video game collection: Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII (PS2) I picked this bad boy up for $5 a couple years ago & really enjoyed it! Not a masterpiece, but a lot of fun. I'd like to see this get the Crisis Core remaster treatment! Also the music rocks 🤘

We just saw Spider-Man less than 2 weeks ago & I absolutely loved it. But announcing a theatrical re-release while it's STILL IN THE THEATERS is really fucking gross. ...also who the fuck is Claire Temple? 🤣

Day 67 of sharing my physical video game collection: Fallout: New Vegas (Xbox 360) I think New Vegas is a lot of people's favorite Fallout - I'm not sure what my favorite is, but I did like NV (and actually finished this one!) Don't go to the fuckin' quarry!

Yeah, people will shit on anything if it changes, but then they'll also shit on it if it's the same. 🤷‍♂️ I've only played a very small bit of Fallout 1 (I didn't grow up w/ PC gaming) & really enjoyed it. I also enjoy 3/4/NV/76 (actually wish I had more time to play 76)

Day 66 of sharing my physical video game collection: Fallout 4 (PS4) I'm still relatively a noob in the Fallout franchise, but it's one I really enjoy. The stories are great & there are so many of them - such as the stories in the ongoing audio series @appalachiastory76.bsky.social! 😉

Resharing mine cuz I’ve seen a lot of these again today. 9 games that played a role in shaping my gaming path, many at different times & each for different reasons:

I really wasn’t (with the rare exception). ACTUALLY it was Shane who was Kenickie! (don’t know how you could POSSIBLY cross the two of us) 🤣 I did get roped into The Show That Shall Not Be Named a few years later at BST, but not in college :)
