Finally got round to tinkering around with Retroarch, and had to start with the greatest ever intro to a video game - Vagrant Story 😍

My setup - where I game is also where I work, so I have to keep things fairly low-key and “professional”. But a little gaming artwork gives it away, and having the Gris cover art in my background on Zoom calls often gets a comment or two

Unpopular opinion as a PC gamer, but I really don’t like mechanical keyboards. Give me my shitty Logitech membrane style keyboard any day

When a video game main menu has the option for ‘New Story’ or ‘New Journey’ rather than ‘New Game’, you know you’re in for a treat

Honestly love the gaming culture on Bluesky. I struggle to get quality time to play with having young kids, a career and studying, but it’s still fun seeing everyone having a wholesome time with great games, and knowing I’ll be able to pick up some gems on sale when I finally get some downtime 🎮

All this PS1 talk has led me to finding out that my original Vib Ribbon game disc with manual and poster is apparently worth over £100 on eBay?! Still not selling though - loved that game!!

Me: I’m really pleased with all the bargains I picked up in the Steam sale, I wonder what I’ll play first… My brain: Let’s play Jedi Fallen Order for the third time because it’s so good… This is why my backlog will never disappear 🫠
