Need to build some measuring stations and applied #rivnuts instead of straight nuts. Less messing around to keep them in place. Rivnuts are meant for steel but thick enough PVC accepts them too with some care. Keep the drilled holes as small and round as possible and carefully crimp the rivnuts.
