I loathe football but still, I'll be drinking this whilst toasting Israel's hopefully humiliating defeat on the pitch. Very poor call by Ireland, disappointed in them. #freepalestine

Pren cerddin yn erbyn andwyo 🌿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 (rowan wood against harm). Folks are more familiar with the rowan cross & red berries charm. In Cymru, there's a tradition of making a ring from rowan wood & placing it as an apotropaic charm in the home. #folklore #witchsky #Welshhistory #folkmagic #Wales

#internationalowlawarenessday prompts me to share the fantastically spooky & morbid Aderyn y Corff, or Corpse Bird in English. Depending on which part of Wales you're from, this death omen may be a ghostly white barn owl, a screech owl, or a bald, flightless, hideous bird! #folklore #owls #cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

A bit of unexpected psychogeography in Swansea. The dead grass reveals the old tram lines preserved in modern town planning, criss-crossing the harbour side. Ghost trams travelling to their final stop at the tram museum at the waterfront.

#pubsigns I admit, seeing some changes around my old haunts made me feel ooold. Happily, Tafarn y Penllwyndu is almost exactly as my dad left it, back in the 80s! I like the new stained glass door, inspired by the original pub sign. Anyway, support your local pub, and fuck wetherspoons.
