This 9 games thing was *not* easy as I have played literally thousands of games over the course of my life, but limiting myself to 1 per genre, per platform has produced a respectable result imo

Look, a lotta people are from NYC, but not everybody was outside. If these boxes don't stir something within, we ain't kin.

...is it safe here? Okay, here it goes: I hate that COTW chose the Fatal Fury Special iteration of Duck King. Anachronism aside, he had a *masterclass* of a design ready to go with the blue and yellow fit, and they just said "what if we picked the weakest one?"

I know my audience so I don't talk much sports here, nonetheless boxing, but Shu pulling the plug on Castro made some Black history for my hometown: Brownsville, Brooklyn has produced more world champs than *anywhere*. Not a country, region, nor city. One neighborhood. Never ran, never will.™

So here's a fun story: My mom got me this game for my 5th birthday, and I used to call it "Ninja Ame (pronounced "Aim") Gaiden" because I didn't know what kanji was (or Japan, for that matter). So even today, as I know this game front to back, it'll always be Ninja Ame Gaiden to me.

Ngl I had a terrible holiday. My gift got stolen on a very special day, got sick on Christmas (fine now thx), didn't visit anyone, and now I'm deep in the New Year rush at work. I'm feeling feelings, but at least I got to make something.
