Got some cute new ink done today. Really love how these came out. As soon as I saw the design I had to get em. Shout out to: @jennrudelartistry.bsky.social

When you get out and fight fascism, it's good to do some self care afterwards, homemade Italian wedding soup came out extra good tonight 😋 #foodsky #soupsky

Some potato and leek soup I made a few weeks ago. First time doing it's the right way by blending and straining the soup for an ultra creamy smooth finish. #soupsky #cooksky #foodsky

A bowl that is orange on the outside and white inside with flower patterns just showing slightly above a green soup with a garnish of green parsley flakes and a couple pieces of chopped bacon. The bowl also has the handle of a silver spoon resting against the back of the bowl with the scoop part of the spoon submerged in the soup

Gonna highlight some of my foodie side here. Learning that #foodsky is a thing 🥰. This was a lunch I made a couple days ago. Pan seared hanger steak in an original marinade from Oliviers Butchery in SF's Dog Patch neighborhood. With garlic butter sautéed shiitake mushrooms and asparagus tips. 10/10

What kinda stuff do you like to read? I'm about half way through this really awesome Queer Muslim coming of age story that I found more relatable than I was expecting. Its got a fair few holds already in Libby but it's not super long so people seem to get through it pretty quick.I got a copy to keep

Vegetarian breakfast burrito for dinner 🤤 I'm embracing my flexitarian lifestyle. Ive been feeling better while still getting to use bone broth or eat real meat without feeling like I'm failing a diet. 💪

Im utilizing the Libby app quite a bit for titles but some books I just want to have to keep as we head into an uncertain regime taking power. Queer books and books about history are on my priority list. I was excited for this to finally arrive today from thriftbooks.com

It was wonderful to take a trip to the local farmers market today. Definitely busy, seemingly busier than I've seen before. Keeping our money local and direct is the best way to have an economic impact on these billionaire companies. I got some amazing produce and ran into an old friend 🧡

This break between my old job ending and my new job starting has been wonderful. So much rest caught up on and while the current political climate is causing a flurry of emotions I've been trying to stay grounded and I've found safety in my kitchen, cooking better for myself and others.

I have hit the ground running thanks to amazing feedback from coworkers and friends. I'm working to start my own jerky company! Small batch, craft cowboy style jerky made fresh weekly. My current demand is higher than I can supply but I'm working to improve that soon. Stay tuned!

SFSPCA is waving puppy adoption fees to help make room for animals effected by the wildfires in LA. If you been considering adding a furry family member to your home, now is a great time to take a look for your new best friend.
