I heard about this but I’m not in the path :(

Homepage is down but my sub page works .. which is what I’ve preferred for years anyway, despite them trying to hide it!

Such weird validation-seeking/projection. They’re the biggest betas I’ve ever laid my eyes on. And I work in IT and astronomy!

I made an allsky camera out of spare parts and poo pipe from Bunnings. Saved myself like 2 grand by not buying something off the shelf. Video here if you’d like to do something similar : youtu.be/pN4XNNMMjl8

In the end the stars were the friends we made along the way.

Thanks Rami! What a huge honor … I was one of their first collabs on their young instagram and now I’ve come full circle on their 3m+ account !

Hanging with FILLIPO from @PrimaLuceLab and the Testar crew at @IAC2025sydney ! They wouldn’t let me take the new focuser because it’s the “only one in Australia”. Pshhh 😅

Any other aussies wake up at 3:30am on a work day Monday? 😅 Quick single exposure to see the stars close to totality. Next one in March is at a much more forgiving evening time.

Saturday night's 97% Moon. When it hits 100% around 3:30am AEST tomorrow, it will go blood red as we enter the totality of a full lunar eclipse. Not the best time for those of us with day jobs, but there will be an evening one in March 2026 if you miss this one. Apertura 75Q / 300mm / F4

Yeh that’s messed up. There are a lot of “good intention” policies here but nothing ever happens and nobody is ever held to account. The sky just gets worse.
