I was living in the southwest when the virus first surfaced many years ago. The CDC, USMRD, UCAL Berkeley Medical et al were there, boots on the ground... EVERYONE was freaked out. No one suggested a visit to MFA or Tractor Supply as a promising course of action.

🤔 might it be rhetorical? It seems simple (albeit annoying when one leans too little on effort), but speech is one of the most complex things our brains do. The problem is that special interest groups (primarily corporate 'entities') see independents as 'wild cards' that they may not be able to control and manipulate as easily as the people they already have in place. Elections costing billions is profoundly obscene, but does point to this fact.
