Dexter’s Lab, PowerPuff Girls, Cow and Chicken and Johnny Bravo were all Hanna Barbera. Those shows quite literally wouldn’t exist without them! 😏

I got nothing against Martin Freeman, he’s a good actor, he’s a great actor, but I imagined Gromit sounding more like Red from Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared!

Keep in mind, the “dirty jokes” were ones the writers were convinced would get cut immediately and only did to amuse themselves. XD

Emotional maturity is realizing Rocko’s Modern Life is great NOT because of the dirty jokes, but because of the relatable characters and extremely well-aged social commentary!

The most optimistic thing I can imagine is that the Skydance merger crashes and burns horrifically just like every other time WB merged with someone else

We DID get a good Transformers movie a few years ago, but I’m pretty sure Paramount intentionally sabotaged it with the worst trailer in the world just so they can get Bay back.

Why do people think literally anything that breaks the 4th wall now is “trying to be Deadpool”? Deadpool didn’t invent 4th wall gags! Looney Tunes, Tex Avery, Rocky & Bullwinkle, The Muppets, Mel Brooks movies, do those not exist?

If you’re gonna complain about all movies/shows being “the same” maybe don’t recycle the same 5 criticisms over and over and over and don’t insist things would be better if they were exactly like they were in the 90s.

MBThomas - Emergency Commissions Open @mbthomas.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Apparently the damage done from the car accident made the engine go out. While the car is insured, I don't have the proper credit to get a new one. I'm still going to work on commissions. Just know that while I work on them I’ll be very sad and very drunk.

You know how back in the 80s and 90s we’d have Anime studios animating Western cartoons? Like TMS animation Batman, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs? I would dearly love if we could still do that, because imagine Studio Trigger or Science Saru animating a U.S. cartoon!!!

another rescore these are pretty time-consuming and require a lot of cutting around for them to work but i always like seeing the end result, especially when trying to see how they add to gags like this
