i didn't end up changing much havshdv but mission "try out new drawing tablet" went well qwq #ororon #genshinau

an alternate version of Ororon from genshin, with darker skin (aiming for blasian tones) and some wiring in his face running under his eye where his tattoo is in his canon design, then running down his cheek a bit.

His other eye has a small chip under it, with wiring leading up and under the eye. He has pink and blue eyes similar to canon, except the pupils and edges of his irises are the same color as the other eye; ex. his blue eye has a pink pupil and iris outline.

His left (viewer right) ear has two pink studs, and a ring on the lower area of the ear. The other has an industrial towards the tip, and two rings more towards the middle of the ear.

He's looking down and away from the viewer / camera with a calm, though mildly gloomy looking expression.

i recently learned pets in cyberpunk are extinct because of laws passed relating to disease control, not just general 'they slowly died out' 100% making it so Ororon manages to help someone in Trauma Team (Baizhu?) and in turn he's able to get help for his pets if anything were to happen to them-

an altered version of Ororon from Genshin. messy and not finished, the only things that are different so far are skin tone being darker (a medium tan) and his eyes having altered colors such that his blue eye has a pink pupil and iris outline, and vice versa for his other eye.

He has a neutral, somewhat tired expression as he looks away and down towards the floor.

uhhh i dont know what happened but here's what i ended up doing for Cyberpunk AU Ororon,,🧵 i was like "idk why but he's giving PTV and i went through a few songs on Misadventures and uhh. Floral and Fading, Phantom Power and Ludicrous Speed, Circles. those three in order lmao

Ororon once had a pet chinchilla. he never named it, but on one job he had to deliver a package, he would learn upon delivery it was a few older ones. Their previous owner has passed and so the recipient would care for them until the ends of their lives.

the recipient was surprised with Ororon's genuine manner, his politeness and courtesy being damn near impossible to find in person to person interactions in NC. recipient tells Ororon that if he wants, he can have one to take home for himself.

he never thought he'd have an opportunity to have a pet, and so he did. he got everything together, did his research, and made the perfect little home for the lil guy.

Ororon soon learned how much joy he had in caring for a small animal like this. it would run up to greet him whenever he came home, and it loved being scratched on the head... Ororon felt it was the first time something actually wanted to be in his presence.

More time passes, and the ways of the world weigh more on him. communicating with people is difficult. and without the ability to do that well, he can't do much of anything in this world- Citlali saves him at times, but he knows he can't always depend on it. he feels more and more inadequate for it (despite having built a name for himself as amazing covert merc) but it helped him to talk things through with this turtle. sure, it was more self reflection than anything, but... people would just reaffirm his shortcomings. this little guy only saw good in him, small as it may be... it was *something.* the closest to positive he could feel.

but he knew it didn't have long left. no matter what he'd try, the signs began showing after a few years; the chinchilla was growing old, and had gotten sick.

he started neglecting duties for the Night Wind (relating them to a gang like the Tyger Claws for now) so he could try to care for it; but nature took its course.

he didn't want to add more interactions and more wondering what he did wrong with this that or the other thing to his plate. he moved away from the Night Wind, to a cheap apartment where he could be left alone. he continued doing gigs as usual for the sake of rent and whatnot, but he just couldn't find a real "reason" for himself to pursue life. he almost felt as hollow as the soulless he would dispatch- he supposed he existed for the sake of repaying the debt he owed the Night Wind for raising him- after all, he ended up not being suitable for the relic project they wanted to try, despite all his mental training. Citlali said he can't help that, but...

the more he let his mind wander, the more he started getting sloppy with his work. he'd get caught and have to enter hand to hand combat to finish a job- not his usual style at all, way too risky. and yet...

there were a few close calls that admittedly had him feeling more alive than what his "life" could ever do. of course, he couldn't let that affect his work, but... he wanted more of that feeling. he's seen plenty of action BDs on ads, surely there has to be something where the fight is a bit more intense on the scroller...

unfortunately, it seemed to be a niche that was not appealing in the mass marketed BDs. he tried a couple of the standard action ones, but they really didn't do anything. he asked around, using the closest ones he got as reference, and one thing led to another before he found himself before an illegal XBD dealer.

Zan felt the job seemed a lil off, but Boothill wanted him to help him with it; it was a high paying job and Boothill wanted to do something special for "that kid's" birthday

i have yet to actually name this character but basically a teenager who was in danger along with a parent potentially; Boothill took an SOS mission to help them out, and the kid looks up to Boothill a lot / wants to learn about self defense so they don't end up like that again

they later discuss how Boothill got the cyberware he has / how he can handle that much, and Zandik slowly comes into conversation; after several weeks if back and forth, Boothill convinces Zandik to let the kid shadow his work. Zandik sets several conditions but in the end the kid is well behaved and Zandik is surprised it goes so well; he's mildly reminded of himself in a distant past, and develops a soft spot for them.

there's an old pair of mantis blades where Zan marked out information on usage, what areas of the blade are best for what parts of the body for certain effects, etc. and there's little doodles they made on them as well

they hold a fair bit of sentimental value to Zandik; after the initial incident, he's been using these blades specifically.

yeah fuck it "that kid" will be Rappa

it lines up damn near perfect with her past, she could have been a kid who was experimented on with heavy implants, her father was part of the organization at first with different ideals in mind but as time went on he realized the kids aren't benefiting from getting these implants (i wanna imagine its like. kids who have big aspirations but no money, bad homes, kids who are orphaned, etc.) and she was an abandoned kid, not too different from Boothill until it comes to who found and took them in

he puts in a tip to a fixer to have someone investigate the area, and Boothill felt something personal when being told about it, taking the job zero hesitation.

after learning the truth, he barges his way straight to the people in charge and threatens them to stop this shit (oh fun fact theres an in game mission thats extremely similar to this lmao)

the people there make an offer for Boothill to let them go, and he just shoots them right then and there

after all is said and done, police are taking care of the aftermath etc. the person who sent in the tip personally thanks Boothill and expresses sadness for the kids who were excited for their new implants, but not regret by any stretch.

in all the kids that were there, most were already moved to another location, or passed due to severe cyberware overload. however, the one he had formed a true paternal bond with was the one he managed to keep tabs on.
