In this case, the tracks leading to the turntable ended so much higher that it pulled the rails off the one tie which is glued to the turntable pit. More details in the alt 2203

The TGV uses the cool white type (11-212) whereas the TEE uses the “vintage” type which is a more yellow hue (11-214). The later is only available in Japan whereas the former can be ordered in the US. 1152
