Hi Nick! V interesting and likely to be of interest to @footballcliches.bsky.social? I have 3 questions: what did you ask it? how do you check its workings? and what’s going on when I play with the model’s extremes to get impossible combinations (20 points clear, several games in hand, 37 to go)?

Just the other day said ‘where do you wanna go - Bali? where do you don’t wanna go - Burnley’. Anyway this was really funny, for the first year

Not sure if the 2/3 bit applies to all fees of this kind but does for Union subs at least

I assume the problem with trying really hard then not doing it is that the other side can say ‘but look at your rule that says you can just do it - there is no ‘try’’

Wrangling with customer service is grinding us down, Chris Colin wrote in 2025. What if that’s the plan?

I was quite surprised by how many people took the comment as a veiled threat. I get that all bets are off for what is now apparently sayable but it just seemed obviously more fitting with the logic of demanding gratitude?

Not sure it’s worth adjudicating on but why does seemingly literally everyone think any red card is an automatic 3 game suspension?

I suspect it predates NIMBYism - it's not uncommon to find yourself on country lanes with incredibly stark names that date to hundreds of years ago and which either meant something very different then or meant exactly the thing they suggest now

I can vouch for at least 3 of these, having lived near and even watched one of them (a team which plays at a rather unfortunate address, incidentally: maps.app.goo.gl/ranYFWkPYT8K...) at one time or another. But your theory becomes more convincing the earlier back in the competition you go:
