I'm not a big fan of the OoTR style but I also don't have anything awful to say about it. I just think people give Unreal Engine a lot of unwarranted credit lol. Things don't look like that because they're "thrown into Unreal on max settings"

8 yr. old iPad worked perfectly until an update this year killed its ability to properly run Procreate 🥲 (the god damn liquid glass). I have to drop big money on a new model to keep drawing! THIS is planned obsolescence: shipping forced, unoptimized, impractical garbage that only new devices can run

the composer for Chiki's Chase (Sean Bialo) is one of the core composers on DENSHATTACK alongside an insane list of collaborators, including musicians who have worked on Persona, Splatoon, Jet Set Radio the album is 80 tracks / nearly 4hr long!! It is mindblowingly good stuff, check it out!!!

Beatspell in Rhythm Heaven Groove is awesome... I think there are enough fun ideas here to inspire a full indie game I'm just baffled by the execution, your progress in the story gets reset every chapter followed by a full tutorial 😂 it's bearable by the end but whhyyy!!

my favourite parts of splatoon are salmon run, deep cut, and side order, so raiders seems like a legitimate dream game for me (also, squid jump is back!?) I never thought PVP splatoon was particularly well made, but with the new gadget and tank mechanics I think they might be cooking for 4's PVP
