Fermented foods boost digestion. Not sure about pre/probiotics in sauerkraut. I keep forgetting to eat it, haha.

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 07/02/2025

Oops, I haven't been on this profile for a while. Super late reply! Saurkraut simply boosts your ability to digest food. It's kind of a joke, but I was eating a lot of bread back then (and still am...), so I thought it would help.

Normally, while shaping the bread, I push out the big bubbles. This time I just left them alone (keep experimenting!). I thought this would lead to large holes inside the bread, but it didn't. The shape is fantastic, and the crumb is good. :)

Haha, I'm confident they'll accept! (Once they add more zeroes to the end...)

Wanted a domain that's taken. Looked up the owner to make an offer. NCSoft... 😅

Ah, that's a great idea. Thanks!

Haha, ain't that the truth. On FB, I feel like I've been shadow banned because I used a random word unknowingly. The same post here (on my baking profile) gets dozens of interactions. On FB... a few, despite more followers.

Currently listening to "10x is easier than 2x." This has drastically affected my goals for 2025. I'm currently building software to support my plans. Lots to do. Should be fun. :)

Wow, these came out when I was born, haha. It's too bad they aren't in print anymore. That said, I've added it to my wish list. $80-300 per book is a bit much. >< lol

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 21/12/2024

That's cool. Do you know what it's from? That's the type of book I love to collect.

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 21/12/2024

At least bread will never trick you. ;) I supposed I could share the various non-fiction books I have been reading lately. It's probably better than silence, haha.

010

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 21/12/2024

Ah, yes, I could do that. But most books I'm listening to right now are nonfiction. >< (Provided you were talking about books I was reading and not my books, haha.)

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 21/12/2024

Haha! Well, you're welcome to follow my baking profile. ;) I doubt most readers care about my awesome bread...

I created this account for my author profile... but I spend all of my time over at @lvl1baker.com, haha. Honestly, I'm not sure what to post as an author. As a baker, though? Bread bread bread and more bread. :)

Ah, the D&D one? That was pretty good. But I can understand not wanting a 4-year-old watching it, haha.

010

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 17/12/2024

I've seen the first half of the season. I think the second half drops today. So far, I've quite enjoyed them. My only disappointment is that they are short. Totally worth watching. :)

Ah, good idea. Nothing (other than weight) is pushing down on the drawer, so it's probably fine. As for the weight, it's about 5-10 pounds. But I'll check, just in case. :)

010

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 13/12/2024

I managed to fit every pack of index cards in the drawer. I thought I failed, with one pack remaining, but check that out! Four stacks deep on all but that last one.

That's the crappy thing about productivity hacks: they don't last. You always need a new one, haha. I hope this one lasts a good long while. :)

After moving here (five years ago), I bought a shovel and happily went out and shoveled my driveway. Ten minutes later, a crew came by and cleared everyone's driveways... lol

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 28/11/2024

Wow, and ouch, and wow, haha. Sounds like you're cruising, man. :)

Dustin Tigner @dustintigner.com · 28/11/2024

Haha, very true! I use index cards for everything (writing, programming, learning, baking, {everything else}). Love them. :)

You never know! That could be a fun book. :)

You know I'm cooking (AKA, working on secret-secret projects) when I get 5,000 index cards. :D

Nooooo! I actually got pizza this time, lol. I think I prefer the hotdog, though. I can make my own pizza.

Hey, me too! Why are you lying in fear? Time to fire up your favorite podcast or audiobook and grab a Costco hotdog. :D

Instead of alternating days between writing and programming, I've decided to go full time on my development work for the next month or so, then I'll be able to tackle this new 7-book series in one go at the start of the year. Until then, I'll be plotting and planning. :)

What I love about Bobiverse is how we just get to sit back and watch a nerd work on his project (multiplied by many Bobs). It's full of fun world-building with a structure that's not predictable.

I should also introduce my books since I'm a LitRPG writer first! I have three series, 'The Weight Of It All', 'System Orphans: Claire', and the upcoming 'Don't Combust'. Each is available on Amazon and I'm really proud of each one! #litrpg #progressionfantasy #writing #books #fantasy #author
