OctransFur Day 3: Baking Hey, so if baking the new body ain't gonna work. Might as well try something else. Lore note, the main reason why Dusky is a living inflatable in FF14 is mostly because his spirit is possessing the pooltoy. This was just attempt 1 at the new body. #octransfur

Slight chance that I minorly threw off my sleep schedule with what I did last night. Not enough to cause problems for livestream tomorrow, but definitely enough that I'm going to most likely just sleep for 8 hours tomorrow and Sunday night to try to fix it.

Sidenote, seems like the edits are basically per claim. So the second claimed part is going to be in the editing process during the current stream... Probably nothing, but I'm still not taking any chances. Will add that I may start the stream in 20 to 30 minutes.

Although, knowing myself, I won't state exactly where the edited parts are in the VOD. Since I'm just picking the remove sound option, and though it does show what part is edited, I probably won't even remember where the edits were done. Just better to state that parts of the VOD were edited.

Picked the edit option, but I have no idea if it edits just the selected claim or all the claims as the specific video ended up with 2 claims in total. So for all I know, I'll have to edit it again to fully fix the problem. ... Do intend to state in the VOD description which one was edited.

Back to the first part of this thread, specifically, the current sound edits to the VOD in question will most likely go into the first hour of today's stream... Although I don't know how the edits work as this is my first time dealing with copyright claims on a VOD on YouTube.

I will basically just state that I take copyright seriously. In fact, when I did PKMN Violet on stream, I did what I could to avoid having the credits song play due to that being a copyright jumpscare.

Ended up with some copyright claims on one of the VODs on youtube. Playing it safe and just removing the sound of the copyrighted parts from the video because I honestly don't want to take any chances. ... Looking at how long it'd take, this may happen during both stream and the VOD export of it.

On the other hand, gives me some time to focus on OctransFur art. Other than that, this'll probably be the same start time for Tuesday's livestream as I have a dentist appointment on that day at the time I'd normally end the livestream. So Tuesday will most likely be either 10 or 11 A.M. Central.

... Considering changing that to 10 A.M. Central for the start time for tomorrow's and any future livestream that has either a trial or normal raid in it that ISN'T on Saturday. This does however mean that I'm doing what I usually do for FF14 daily gameplay and basically having lunch at 9.

Will state this, when I unlock access to the trial, I intend to run an ad break so as to ensure that the trial and any immediate follow up cutscenes for the viewers don't get interrupted by ads on Twitch. Will most likely do a similar thing for each and every trial.

Although, most likely starting late anyway to make trial wait time take less time by playing a bit closer to when the daily duty roulette resets at 10 A.M. Central here. Thinking of starting at 9 A.M. Central specifically tomorrow for the livestream to get close enough to it.

Sidenote, OctransFur starts tomorrow. Since it's a workday and there's some daily gameplay I'm doing, figured I'd do sketches a day before the actual day if the actual day is a workday, then add colors. If the next day isn't a workday, entire prompt is sketched and colored on that day.

Specifically, this is going off of the Duty Roulette stuff I currently have unlocked. I'm not taking anything else into consideration here. Just the duty roulette specfic rewards. Would probably be more if I did pvp, but I was only focusing originally for glamour prisms.

Did some math, it'd take 3 days to max out the mathematic tomestones and 3 weeks (counting this week) to max out the mnemonic tomestones. Gameplay wise, if I get done with Eden raids, I'll basically be able to level up red mage for fun each Monday.

After/between that, I'll most likely farm the tomestones needed for RPR DT outfit as reaching lvl 100 gave me access to them as rewards from duty roulettes. Meaning that I can acquire them ahead of time. Although this WILL push the for fun Red Mage gameplay back a bit so I can max out tomestones.

Sidenote, even if I do make it, for story reasons it'll be blocked from use until the specific post DT MSQ is reached anyway. Theoretically, it canonically, in terms of story, exists already, but because of the streams starting in Endwalker, it hasn't shown up in the stream gameplay yet.

Opinions aren't exactly complete here as I'm still on quest 2 of the questline, but overall this questline feels like a role reversal of FMoS in terms of who has access to the sacrifice mechanic mixed with giant mech battles.

That's BASICALLY what this questline felt like to me after the first battle. ... Then somehow mech battles got added in for the second battle. Gets a bit awkward in that the enemies are related to an ally, but said enemies are, to my knowledge, set on the destructive path.

Mind you, this is more in terms that the layout of the questline is basically "what if sacrifice gimmick (a gimmick I'll never let happen if I can help it when I do FMoS3 on stream) that PC had was given to the enemy instead and you had to be on the receiving end of the weapon instead."

Some context, the trial questline I'm doing is specifically "the Sorrow of Werlyt" one... Currently getting some "Fuga Melodies of Steel" vibes from it. ... Mainly in that "character dies to super charge weapon"... But roles are reversed and the characters you want to survive are the enemies.
