The myth of Colombus was made by Italian immigrants as a way of increasing their legitimacy. By the 1930s, Italian immigrants were living in poverty & near unrest. Making it required for people to get a job, made it effectively compulsory for every adult except pensioners. What we need is a card with NFC that contains a unique key for digital services.
