When I first got back into traditional media, it was very much a scav approach. Whatever I had on hand - scrap paper, cardboard backings, dying highlighters, pens and old markers in some ravenous compulsion to make something again that resulted in smears, spatters and unforgivable palettes.

This is an old sketch but the idea of Zandali liches hits particularly hard right now. Like Dunmer in TES, trolls seem to have a regard concerning undeath where the specifics of it being helpful or hated are highly stipulated depending on the circumstances of that condition and who caused it.

We're our own worst critics, and I grade myself pretty harshly. This one I did some months ago, I wasn't satisfied with the outcome. When I do revise, the client gets it too. Everyone's happy. Wanted to get away from big budget rendering and try flats for once, plus proportion/anatomy/armor tweaks.
