Did you know you only need a small brain to make silly little drawings?

4 panel comic:
Panel 1: pink blob guy on a table, pencil in their hands. Grey circle on a piece of paper and a glass of water on the table. They say “look here”
Panel 2: Proudly, they hold up the drawing of a grey blobby character on two stick legs up in the air. The pink blob says “I drew this!”
Panel 3: Satisfied they sit back down on the table. They now go “it’s not much, but..” The grey drawing looks a bit peeved because the drawer is calling it “not much”
Panel 4: But it’s okay, because now the pink blob is very pleased finally. He says “it came from my brain!” Holding the pencil up. The grey drawing blob is happy again, too. End well, all well!

I forgot I was doing this Uh my last one is honestly up to your taste if you think it's good or not, but I know I like it. I've been trying to make something with time signature/tempo changes. And after struggling with a few trials and errors it worked out! So behold, my latest song! (6/6)

This one's just to show my "unoriginality"... For a while half of my songs were functional remixes of drift away from Steven universe 🤔 On one hand, it's not the same song, I just took inspiration from it as it was something I could play on the piano, on the other hand, It's the same song... (5/6)

That being said Time to show my improvement! You guys should know this one already (4/6)

Nevermind There are no horrid ones 🥹 I can hear the joy in my voice and the intent behind the music... Isn't that what art is about? Expressing yourself? It's not good... It's mine tho and that's enough to have it not be bad 😊 (3/6)

These aren't the horrid ones... There are horrid ones 😅 Maybe I should share one of those too actually show you how someone who took music classes & is capable of piano can sound like when they are trying but still inexperienced (2/6)

I cannot express how CORRECT this comic is. Art is a constant struggle for improvement because people all throughout are getting better. It's just so quaint to look at how you've progressed. Art logs are perfect for this. Here's my progression over the years as I found my passion in music. (1/6)

Ivan is spitting straight facts. Art is hard. Don't quit art if you love it, though. If I quit music because I was bad at it and people were better, I'd never be as good as I am today. Even today my music is mediocre at best, but... I love it. I love it and that's enough. Great page, it hit home ❤️

Bear is secretly giving us drawing advice 🤔 I feel bad for Francis. The first few steps are the hardest. The last where Ivan is like "that still not right." I feel it 😔. Like, I tried to do what you asked, but what you asked is so abstract 😭😭🙏🙏🙏 Love this page a lot ❤️ - The Herald of Halloween

🥹 Ivan, poor Ivan. He's gone through a lot. That being said I wish I could hug francis like that!!! He looks so soft. I miss hugs. I'll get one of my friends to hug me!

I must say, I really enjoy this series! Perhaps it's because of the more slice-of-life feel (same with the shark one!) I am enjoying this a lot!

I hate how much I can relate to Francis in this moment Some people are really... Insistant on discussing this topic

Dunecross, Herald of Halloween @dunecross.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

100% agree. It helps me keep on writing things. Sometimes I feel like I'm being too nerdy, too focused on unimportant things. Often time thats true, but my friends still enjoy my writing. Same with my music, if I don't enjoy the music, what's the point of making it?

I like how grounded and competent he is. He generally knows what's going on, on a deeper-than surface level which I find intriguing to read.

Ivan is so me sometimes 😔 Not having genuine experience with relationships and love so you can't tell the difference between someone being nice/wanting you around as a friend and someone wanting you permanently

POV: you help some guy draw your basic picture and he's acting like you're van Goch (you're just relatively skilled, but he's still amazed) It really does feel like that tho, I've been on either end of this scenario. Once when I saw my classmate draw so beautifully and whenever I play on the piano.
