I'm like 120 hours into my playthrough of KCD2, finally wrapping up the story. Thought I had seen all it had to offer and was ready to wrap up, then the game hit me out of nowhere with an OPTIONAL encounter I now think is very close to the pinnacle of storytelling in the medium.

Possible hot take: I think difficulty options are great but I don't love sliders personally. Sliders to me speak to low confidence in the dev's vision for default difficulty balancing, and tells me the difficulties are mostly just stat tweaks (worst approach to difficulty IMO).
