i haven’t really ever told any of them that I’m agender or that I prefer they/them bc I remember the effort it took to try to explain that my then-partner used they/them and the fact that literally no effort was made to remember or respect that in the least

It really does suck seeing the proof that my family are just never going to come round to using they/them pronouns for people who use them. they didn’t do it for my ex, they don’t do it for people we’re watching on taskmaster. Why should I even try to ask them to use them for me?

There are like six of that spindly type chilling in the kitchen that I know of but they keep to their corners so it’s been ok and im glad I can cope with their presence more. I just wish I could expand that to include the bigger house spiders

I’m trying to be better about spiders and for the smaller types I’ve made some progress. I can deal with the little spindly legged ones more now and am mostly happy to just leave them be when I used to not be able to handle having any spider in the same room as me
