Andreas Holley @duk.im · 11/03/2026Just had a bit of an awakening moment with agents, going through fly.io/blog/everyon.... Added an ls and cat tool using the same pattern as ping. Got the agent to inspect its own source code, it suggested adding write_file, and now the agent is modifying and improving itself 🤯. All in ~200 lines TS 320
Andreas Holley @duk.im · 07/02/2026Yeah this new agent team mode with Opus 4.6 and the pro plan are not made for each other, blew past my 5 hour limit in 11 minutes. 100
Andreas Holley @duk.im · 07/02/2026I tried out codex for some personal stuff (have a month free of the plus plan), and it seems like I have easily 10x the limits with 5.3 codex vs Claude code with the pro plan (same price, and I’ve been paying monthly since November). The desktop app seems pretty nice too 130

Andreas Holley @duk.im · 04/01/2026Fully vibe coded a scoring app for the card game 'Skull King' over new year, skullking.dev.duk.im. First version ~2-3 minutes prompting Claude on iOS to get something that would have taken me hours. But ended up iterating, adding small features, and fixing bugs for ~4-5 hours to get it 'good enough'skullking.dev.duk.imSkull King ScorerScore tracker for the Skull King card game. Reposted by Andreas HolleyGergely Orosz @gergely.pragmaticengineer.com · 04/06/2025Now THIS is what a customer-centric app is. Most banks keep sending out warning emails about impersonation and scams. Any app can implement this capability with a little coding + backend work (assuming their BE sensible enough): and yet Monzo is the first one I’ve heard do it. 1155897
