Can someone explain to me like I'm five why the US is convinced they need voting machines? And why even with them some states take days to count? We have a General election. Council workers, volunteers and overseers pile up and count thousands of paper ballots and we have a result the next day.

Usually try to turn down the radio as the news is too grim for little ears. She heard "children who have committed crimes.." and was asking what kind of crimes a child commits. "Is it like when we stole and hid the teachers smart board remote so we didn't have to do maths".

I was taught this at GCSE Computer Science (well actually some "equivalent" our school chose to do instead). Took years to undo the habit of double spaces. But I've managed it. We can all change.
