More video game movies should take the Resident Evil approach of feeling like watching someone bad at games playing the game. I want to scream at Link as he struggles with an easy puzzle for 30 minutes. I want Agent 47 to get caught and wind up having to drag a dozen corpses into a freezer.

I love when games make you feel an intended emotion through game design. A lot of developers are too afraid to create friction, but sometimes a game slips through even in the AAA space that does this masterfully.

I think my biggest worry going into the Wolverine game is that Logan is not a gadget-heavy character like Spider-Man and Ratchet are. While Insomniac hasn't always done gadget-focused games, it's been their bread and butter for a long time. Unfortunately these worries were very much so justified.

The same team over the period of 7 years was able to make: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Kingdom Hearts 4 All of these are MASSIVE games with megabudgets and cut no corners, but because they kept the same team they could release them relatively rapidly.

AI images are all over this game (and were even moreso during the beta). They also had an AI generated ad. These fucking liars also didn't disclose on Steam, which along with NTE and 1666: Amsterdam, it's becoming clear @valvesoftware.com is happy to aid in the deception and not enforce their rules.

Fortune's Weave is so full of incredible character designs. It's also really diverse with so many characters representing cultures not seen often in games, and a lot of darker skinned characters. I love this kind of variety and it feels so fresh after anime games since Genshin have been super white.
