#ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky Finally Finished It! My prayer shawl grp was asked to make a christening poncho for a 3yr old. I adapted the Dance in the Rain poncho (Stunning String Studio, Ravelry) using Soft Alpaca Lace (hobbi). Exquisite yarn. I hope it fits!!!

#ShowMeYourKnits #KnitSky IFFI (I finally finished it)! Unhappy w/ the nupps (too limp) so added a bit of cornstarch to the soaking & pinned the nupps for blocking. Still soft for christening & hope the nupps will stay firm when parents wash it. I think superwash makes yrn sl slippery for nupps.

The alpaca boucle ones (left) are so soft I get stares walking around stroking my own arm. On the right, they’re so cozy that it’s like wearing a sweatshirt only nicer. 😊
