Well, I guess my 3 kids are safe. When they were babies & had appts w/our pediatrician they were always in 40-50 percentile for weight (the oldest actually fell totally off the chart due to a heart condition...15 lbs @ 1 yr) but all 3 were in the 95% for head circumference.

2026 is def. more challenging. I recall my dad telling me in the mid 80's, "I'm worried for you kids" in re to the future. He was one of the 1st guys to take on Monsanto, refusing to be wined & dined by them. It may sound simplistic, but doing what's right seems to pay off...at least eventually.

I can't wrap my head around this philosophy. My dad provided us with an amazing life. If he had given less to his employees & the community I guess we would've been at another tier financially, but he loved what he did. Greedy people, (and I know a shit ton of them) are all miserable & paranoid.

He raked in A LOT OF MONEY for awhile by charging 50.00 for a pillow that cost less than 2.00 to make and promoting the fact that they were made in America. They were trash. I later, bought one at Home Goods ( for much less) just to tear it up & see what was inside.

There's an incredible story from a few yrs ago on the Northern Oregon Coast where an elk was shot. The "hunter" left & returned later to find it gone. He went back to the site again the next day and was ambushed and killed by the same elk, which then laid down and died.
