Ahhh that makes sense. My supposed "winter" ones almost all died off when I planted them, but one has just decided to start growing. It's 30cm tall and no flowers yet, I figure it'll just blend in with my summer seeds that I've just started.

They seem more mad that people piss in the public toilet now instead of peeing in entry to the fire escape and the building 🤷🤷🤷 I will never understand that group of people in the association. They made living there really unpleasant.

I’m just glad they didn’t message the irritating residents association that was part of our building when we lived there they’re furious about the development and replacing public car parks shared car spots and taxi stands, creating pedestrian malls and public toilets.

I’m so twitchy tonight because one of the family holiday houses that likes to have big parties is chocka with people and loud music today and I am just waiting for them to want to finish off their fireworks. They’re the only ones that do it around here as far as I can tell.

The followed the linked sources to the govt pages on the bills, and the articles different orgs had posted. Then I read those, and wrote my own submission. If I were the author of something similar, I wouldn’t have created a way for people to generate submissions.

Did you know Gus has an exceptionally good sniffer?! We had a successful trial last week - 4/4 searches each found in under one minute. They had a professional photographer and I’m chuffed. Check out his tail wag when he’s on odour 💖🥹

They come and nip the entire flower off our native pururi tree to get to the nectar. All the native birds sip from the flower but the damn rosella will rip 20 flowers off the tree instead. It’s so upsetting watching it.
