Yesterday a dog showed up but then we found the owners. After that happened I really wanted a dog of the same breed. So today we added to our family. He doesn't have a name yet since he just arrived at the animal shelter and we haven't thought of a name but he is so well behaved 🙂

This random dog showed up at our door this morning. We are keeping an eye out for missing dog posts! I'm a cat person but he is making me love dogs 🤣

First model in #Blender done! I first followed a tutorial, but then when I finished that... I decided to see if I can make the same thing without watching the tutorial. I'm pretty proud of myself for being able to do this 🙂

Spent a week on vacation with the family at Big Bend National Park! Was so much fun showing the kids where we went to college (15 years ago) and visited all the old hiking trails. Also camped in our new car/tent which was great! Also we found our old drawing in the sidewalk 🤣

New mailbox installed! This one has a 4x4 wood post going through the galvanized metal. So it should inflict more damage if it is hit again 🤣 Tempted to put a huge landscaping rock next to it too 🤔

When the Air Conditioner isn't running our consumption drops a lot 🤣

000

Ducain23 @ducain23.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Solar is running! This is our current production with everything running including the air conditioner. Batteries needed to be charged since they were new! So happy we no longer have to pay an electricity bill. Just a flat payment for solar loan instead of electricity cost that rises every year🙂

Really wish Halo Studios would either stop doing the square thumbnail thing for selecting a gametype or add the gametype title in the thumbnail picture. It is annoying searching for a gametype but the part that makes it different from the others is covered because the text it too long.

Actually started snowing just now. Not much since it just started but since our kids have never seen snow, we had to wake them up. It is supposed to be snowing all night so we will be getting up early in the morning to go slide down the hill (we have sand discs 🤣)

We did a thing! Our 10+ year old car was having many issues. So we started looking at a variety of vehicles but this Model Y was the vehicle that hit most of our wants/needs Got 10k off the vehicle with deals and tax credit. We are now an all EV family. This will be different 😂
