Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 25/05/2025Album to start [the rest of] my day (I had a gig this morning). I bought this CD used, ages ago, but I'm thinking I've never listened to a note of it before today. It's live solo, and it's pretty good. Interesting to hear the different ways he constructs playable piano accompaniments for his songs. 000

Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 30/04/2025Album to start my day The opening track is one of those songs I can rarely listen to without wanting to immediately hear it again. Today is no exception. youtu.be/ZvQdwLzDpPE?... 000
Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 29/04/2025Album to start my day. Another excellent suggestion by Cathy. We used to listen to this at least once or twice a week. 000

Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 18/04/2025Album to start my day: Big Big Train's 2012 album English Electric Part One. This album literally and very significantly changed my life - chances are good that I'd never have visited the UK if I hadn't ever heard it. Thanks again to Mitch Goldman for turning me on to this one. 000
Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 13/04/2025Album to start my day. A suggestion from Cathy - an epic and very Prog song cycle from the Beardfish founder/leader and stalwart guitarist/keyboardist for Big Big Train (pic from Rivoli Theater in Rutherford NJ, March 2024) 000
Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 12/04/2025Album to start my day. Embarrassed to say that I've owned this for years but never listened to it all the way through before. My loss, as this is an enjoyable album. First saw her as the bassist in one of the Curt-less Tears for Fears lineups; her vocal on Woman In Chains was one of the highlights. 020
Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 11/04/2025Album to start my day I've been wanting to hear this one since listening to demos and session outtakes last month on Joni Archives vol. 3 000
Duane Day @duaneday.bsky.social · 07/04/2025Album to start my day. Once in heavy rotation, but it's been quite a while since I listened to the whole thing. Produced by Todd Rundgren, and you can hear his influence all over it. 020
