I just want to live that literary life.

A book cafe at midday. Empty of people, but a handful of book cases that make up seating nooks.

At some point I wound up on a recruiter list for software engineering, which I know nothing about. I will now start responding to all of them in a sadistic manner.

One of the first "Southern Heat" kind of days so far this year in Asheville. I'm sure it's warmer somewhere else, but my old ass runs hot and I ain't much for nothing past 75 degrees.

I've had entirely too many encounters with bears in the last 25 hours.

Leaning heavily on my public library for some recent projects needing loads of research. Since no one in their right mind should deface a library book, I've kept an index card loaded with book darts as a defacto bookmark. Simple, convenient.

Beer needs at least a quarter inch or head from the top of the glass. Bartenders, you aren't doing anyone favors by rushing to the rim. Yes, this does impact taste and quality.
