Days like today I’m thrilled to have a home battery system. If the grid fails I got plenty of juice for us and our neighbours. Going solar+battery has a ton of benefits that don’t fit neatly into a standard ROI calculation.

Yup! Lotus Chess confirmed what I suspected: I was in huge trouble this entire game. They got me out of book super early into a dark forest I didn’t recognize. Made for a super fun game.

Beat my first 2000 rated player in rapid 10+0! 🎉 My King’s gambit was refuted, leaving me on the back foot right until the end. I managed to creep my knight close enough to create a threat, then my queen. All while my king hid behind a handy pawn shield my opponent provided.
