Building an AI model just got easier thanks to our open source tool CREDIT! NSF NCAR’s next-gen Community Research Earth Digital Intelligence Twin (CREDIT) got a fantastic upgrade, now with a building-blocks approach, reduced run time & more physics to keep the AI outputs as realistic as possible.

Last week, a team of scientists (including NSF NCAR, the National Solar Observatory & Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research) discovered Kelvin-Helmholtz instability, which might be a key reason magnetic energy builds up on the Sun, fueling solar flares and eruptions that can affect Earth.
