Looks like Galactic Veins made it just in time for the Steam Fest starting later today! The Demo is a very early build that doubles down as a vertical slice. Had to focus on a few features for the demo. Can't wait to get the first feedbacks #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

The hangar is ready, you can customize the ship by selecting it's equipment slots. Handles dragging, swapping, and it even filters the inventory for you! #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

I finally managed to achieve the visual I want for the spaceship's interior! The hull remains visible and parts of it can be hidden dynamically. #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

I am currently working on the research/knowledge system. The research system lets you unlock recipes and technologies but also doubles down as an in-game wiki! #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

Some progress on the mining loop for Galactic Veins! It is almost complete. Mine with power and heat settings. Resources have heat threshold, staying close to the optimal range is vital. Too far damages integrity, risking extraction failure. #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

Got some progress done on the ship's interior and its RTS mechanics! Managed to create some dynamic buildings that respond to data from the player as well. Quite happy with the result. youtu.be/CC80bma6TbM #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space

Making some progress on the ship's interior customization. I've got to get the scales to make sense, deal with collisions and design a proper control scheme. I think we're getting somewhere! #galacticveins #gamedev #indiegame #unrealengine #space
