Bots are ruining whatever is left of #Instagram. The site has become useless for me, just noise, bots and ads.

I think performers did it sometimes but certainly not all the time. The Beatles played live on their groundbreaking appearances, but after ‘66 they sent Ed videos. I believe Mansfield played this live too, though the audio/video tracks are not perfectly in sync.

As a lifelong—and I ain’t young—Laker fan that was my first thought—”I’m done.” It’s like Walter put them up for sale with the caveat that only assholes need apply. The team had many great seasons & we’ll always have that, but my fan years are now over. More time for other things.

…and I’ve been there. I wish getting paid “only” $50 million a year was my biggest problem in life.

There are great photos, most of which I’d never seen. The old school book-with-pages route is the way ti go, I think.

It’s excellent. The authors did fantastic research. There are plenty of interviews with the authors on YT now also.

Two titans meeting on late night tv, of all places. This show was stuck in a no-win slot (Sunday nights around midnight) yet produced unforgettable moments. Years after the fact I met both Perla Batalla and Julie Christensen, LC”s background singers, and heard their accounts of this magical time.

It’s an often fleeting experience—listening back to one's own music after time away & experiencing it as if someone else created it. For those of us who can be hyper self-critical, it’s a nice moment #spiritmusic #soundtrack #otherdesertcities #violin davidstrother.bandcamp.com/album/el-tec...

I read she was criticized for the performance & then realized the critics were on Twitter. They’re as tone deaf about music as they are about everything else over there. Tatiana was badass.
