I cannot express how stupid the mlb playoff schedule is. 4 games a day for 3 days, then off on Friday, 4 games Saturday, only 2 games Sunday, with 2 teams off for a 2nd or 3rd time in 3 days. Then 2 games Monday and Tuesday, before possibly having 4 games on Wednesday.

The brewers got 270 innings of 2.00 ERA out of 2 24 year old starters who had pitched zero innings in the majors before 2025. The cubs had 2 24 year old starters to start the season, they got 70 innings out of them. That’s why the cubs are out of the playoffs.

The cubs had 11 different pitchers who made a quality start this year. Brewers had 9 Yankees: 8 Braves: 8 Dodgers: 9 Rays: 8 Phillies: 5 Padres: 6 Whit Sox: 7 Astros: 10 Red Sox: 7 Saying that the cubs didn’t have a bunch of guys that stepped up is just flat wrong. They had more pitchers step up…
