had to pull out the big guns.

i keep file names alphanumeric and then save non-ascii for metadata. i usually do network transfer, so localsend is pretty magical. but even better, i just use jellyfin. quite a few clients support downloading tracks, and if you have a device on ios 26, manet is an absolutely gorgeous experience.
