UPDATED CONTACT DETAILS. Defence School of Transport at Leconfield, East Yorkshire has been running BioBlitzes for local naturalists at this restricted MOD site for 4 years. The site is running more events in 2026, please see the attached poster for dates and information. #DSTLeconfield #BioBlitz

08 Apr 26. Some of our summer visitors are starting to return. Today Blackcaps and Willow Warblers joined the Chiffchaffs, and a Barn Swallow hawked over Wyndham Lake. There were also 16 Sand Martins, 2 Oystercatchers and a Red Kite, plus Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Speckled Wood butterflies.
