Hey everyone, I'm really in a bind. I was just told earlier today that my job will be terminating me on October 13th, exactly one day before my upcoming requested paid medical leave to recover from bottom surgery. I intend to fight this in court, but I could really use some help in the meantime.

My brain deserves it. If it can't take some cold blood, so be it, the grey matter will suffer.

I'm on a frankly absurd amount of antibiotics right now and everything is assigned semi-random tastes, like I had a miracle berry from Wish.

I have swept and cleaned and vacuumed all over this room and somehow when I put my foot down I managed to step on a piece of gunpla I thought I lost over a year ago. How did you survive little funnel petal? Did you wish to be reunited with the Sazabi??? This too is yuri.

I have so much beef with autocorrect. I don't even use words that are extremely exotic. It got mad at me for "disgorged"! That's a normal word! And now it messes up "of" and "if", regularly trying to switch in the wrong one of the two for a given sentence.

I am possessed of similar aspirations, but of a more modest sort. I wish for a home scaled for my exact height and would then force any interviews to be conducted in my home so most people would appear unusally short while I would finally be normal sized.

I was in EW patches, I'm taking the loss of my old account as a narrative element where the Final Day was not stopped and the WoL is now going through the events leading up to it with foreknowledge. Fate is rather resistant to meddling too much, but there's smaller things that can add up over time.

I've picked up FFXIV again, I had to make a new account since my old one has an expired 2fa and I have different legal documents than when I registered it years and years ago. Anyway, all this to say that I am doing an adventuring journal that I may post later. I've got a fun conceit for it.

BTW, nuclear is THE most environmentally-friendly power source. Hydroelectric disrupts aquatic ecosystems, wind turbines kill birds and create lots of waste in the form of worn-out fiberglass blades, solar panels require lots of nasty mining, etc.

Ending does require Holy to be cast and doing so involves Cloud transitioning, imagine. Like I'm sure if they do go a route like that they'll just have Aerith do it as a ghost, but I'll accept a half measure of doing it through Cloud's body.

Tomorrow I go to sign the death warrant on my left little toe, I will be having to pay for a ride all the way to El Cajon. I'm much more mad about that part than losing the useless piece of flesh and bone.

So, it looks like that infection back in March did eat up some of the bone on the little toe. Gonna have to get it removed, outpatient on Friday. You think my surgeon would appreciate a joke about being willing to lose a toe to be able to do normal showers again?

I'll admit this is the kind of reaction I was looking for when this version of that arc was planned out, but I wouldn't call this her final fate, that material is quite miraculous.

I do really wanna hear from people that have finished reading A Wolf Age what they think of what happens to Rico. The character went from being intended as "Amuro Rittenhouse" who would die a couple chapters in to being the center of one of the main storylines in the book also changed pronouns.

I feel similarly since I'm writing in the mecha genre and not doing mechsplo. Even the girl that's a bit hound coded is not being made less, she just had her ego collapse due to other circumstances and rebuilt it with her lover's help.

Char's Counterattack has more mixed opinions from fans broadly, but I do enjoy Char's very public suicide by Amuro. I could talk for hours about where in the UC timeline that CCA was truly locked in as inevitable.
