Beshear has said he will do something, but, thus far, hasn’t. If he doesn’t by 7/31, his ability to appoint someone goes away. IOW, Beshear has an option now that he should try even if overruled by a court. Mamdani has no such option.

Suggestion: build a Congressional website listing all policies that the Trump admin has implemented that impacted farmers. Show whether the policy has been positive, negative, neutral, or TBD.
