I am so excited to have reached 500 citations! I am thankful to get to do this work and focus my efforts on media and crime, domestic violence, and women’s issues in the criminal justice system. I am also thankful for my fabulous co-authors/colleagues.

It was an incredible ASC conference in San Francisco! It was so great to see so many friends and colleagues! I presented in 4 different conference events (roundtables, paper presentations, workshops) across the four days! I’m exhausted but thankful.

Huge news in California. The Ebony Alert legislation has been signed. This represents progress toward finding missing Black children and women, who go missing at high rates. Happy to see this news today.
