Ed Byrne delivered a keynote today at the UNIC Conference on 'Sustainable Development and Other Paradigms and Concepts in the Context of Contemporary Civilizational Trends' hosted by University of Łódz. UCC is a partner on UNIC, 'The European University of Cities in Post-Industrial Transition'.

DSIS at the Earth System Governance (ESG) conference in Bath this week: Maggie O'Neill & Ian Hughes presented together with int'l colleagues Andrej Zwitter, Wakanyi Hoffman and Ariel Hernandez. ESG is the world's largest research community at the interface between sustainability and governance.

Bob Grumiau and visiting Prof Kelly Salchow MacArthur (Michigan State University) led a collaging workshop on "Inhabiting Landscapes Meaningfully and Sensually". Participants joined a "sensual" walk around campus to capture impressions and forage supplies, before taking to scissors and gluesticks.
