Just popping back on here to say that I entered the AMV/CMV Contest at @kitacon.bsky.social this year and I won! Seeing my work on the big screen at the closing ceremony and people cheering for the shots and the cosplayers I chose for it really warmed my heart ;3; so surreal!

@drwherotog.bsky.social and @brookie9001.bsky.social treat me to a few shots and a shot video on the Sunday evening of last week's @sporesproductions.bsky.social shoot. There is a lot more Daredevil to come. #daredevil #cosplay #reborn

Ben is wearing a Daredevil suit in custom black and red colours. He is leant against a wall, holding a billy club in each hand. The lighting is all red.

One thing I might make as a resolution: Try to migrate all my follows and such off of Twitter and onto here (depending on how many of my follows are on here) and use this app more often for 2025 💙

First year of #SpotifyWrapped for me, honestly not surprised that LP is top of my list xD Wonder if “Good Things Go” woulda been higher if “From Zero” wasn’t mid-November xD that track has been on repeat for me non-stop since it came out 😂 but yeah, maybe I can beat my record next year 💖

To come and see you guys live next June! I am making it my goal to enjoy my first ever gig, because it will be for a band who’s shaped the person I am today, from 2006 to now, I am fully embracing my love for this band and its catalogue! Bring on “From Zero World Tour 2025”!!!!

James Coaton (DrWheroTog) @drwherotog.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Had me hooked, I’d not enjoyed a full album listen through like this since “A Thousand Suns” and I was loving every second. Emily and Mike and Joe and Brad and Dave and Colin. All of you made the comeback as awesome as it could have been, And now I’m pushing past how much of an introvert I am…

November 14th The day before the new album “From Zero” was to release A new 50 date world tour They were coming back in June 2025 to play Wembley! My goal was set, and then fully confirmed once the full album released that midnight The entire 30 minute listen-through from track 1 to track 11…

The initial tour announcement had me excited, but with how short notice it was, I couldn’t make the show as the O2. But I kept following, kept my attention locked on what was being announced, week by week, Single by single “Heavy is the Crown” “Over Each Other” “Two Faced” Then came…

A livestream spelled it all out, September, they announced they were coming back. New drummer, new lead vocalist, but same old LP in my heart! “The Emptiness Machine” gave us a hint of what the last couple of years had been like to prepare us for this day, and I was immediately hooked and ready…

August 2024, after several years of glimpsing Mike Shinoda doing solo work aswell as unreleased tracks reminding us all why we missed Chester so much…. The band was planning something A comeback? I was hopeful, but also mildly skeptical Was there any point? What could they bring to the table?…

James Coaton (DrWheroTog) @drwherotog.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Were devastated beyond belief. One of my favourite vocalists of all time, who’d allowed me to express my inner pains and despairs in ear ripping screams and harmonies, was gone…. As was my chance to ever see my favourite band live, ever again…. Or so I thought?

James Coaton (DrWheroTog) @drwherotog.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

But… as we all know, the arena was bombed in a terror attack, and LP never came to Manchester for that gig (I hadn’t bought a ticket, but I was tempted) And then in July, 13 days after they should have played Manchester Chester took his own life I, as well as most of the rock/music world…

For me; “Invisible”, “Battle Symphony” & “Sharp edges” were some particulars that got me through. I decided after it came out that I wanted to get myself out to one of these gigs at the “One More Light” tour, to which I wanted to pop by Manchester for the event at the Arena near Victoria Station…

Back to a more heavier metal vibe with “The Hunting Party”, I kind of wavered. “Guilty all the Same” was a decent track, but the album as a whole didn’t grab me. Then “One more Light” came out and I was as average to it as most fans were, but I didn’t hate it, some tracks were regular listens…

Then Living Things came out, Single and Single. “Burn it Down”, “Castle of Glass”, “Roads Untravelled”. They were going WAY more electronic and I was here for it, especially when they partnered with Steve Aoki for “A Light that never comes” (The remix album is TOP 👌👌👌) But as they went…

To the band without hesitation. “A Thousand Suns” is a listening experience unlike any other I’ve ever heard. Track after track, song or incidental, all of them continue on like a story that never lets up, it hit me on so many levels “Robot Boy”,”Iridescent” & “The Catalyst” being my highlights…

Then came the Michael Bay transformers films, and “What I’ve done” the track that millions now associate with that franchise more than most, and the transition from the recently released “Minutes to Midnight” to my all time favourite album “A Thousand Suns”. This release confirmed my dedication…

My first proper exposure to LP, was hearing the entirety of “In the End” set to a Torchwood Series 1 AMV on YouTube, after that, I fell in love; I got my first MP3 player at secondary school as a prize for attendance record. Soon as I got home, it was filled with Hybrid-Theory + Meteora songs…

I’ve been a Linkin Park fan since around Mid-2006. I knew OF them, vaguely, due to having Sky TV from a young age and adverts inbetween the Simpson’s in Sky One for “Hybrid Theory” with “Crawling” and “In the End”, but my young mind had no clue what exactly I liked about the clips I heard…
